J&rsquo;y explique de mani\u00e8re succincte mes choix et donne quelques d\u00e9tails des phases de la construction, les particularit\u00e9s li\u00e9s \u00e0 son \u00e9quipement et la mani\u00e8re dont je l&rsquo;ai mis en \u0153uvre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Les a\u00e9ronefs convertibles : un peu d&rsquo;histoire<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Le d\u00e9veloppement des a\u00e9ronefs convertibles a toujours suscit\u00e9 l&rsquo;int\u00e9r\u00eat de l&rsquo;homme depuis qu&rsquo;il cherche \u00e0 faire voler les plus lourds que l&rsquo;air\u2026 Pour \u00eatre en mesure d&rsquo;imiter le vol d&rsquo;un faucon cr\u00e9cerelle ou d&rsquo;un oiseau mouche, l&rsquo;homme avait besoin de comp\u00e9tences \u00e9tendues dans les domaines de l&rsquo;a\u00e9rodynamique mais \u00e9galement dans la motorisation et les syst\u00e8mes de r\u00e9gulation embarqu\u00e9s.<br><br>C&rsquo;est apr\u00e8s la seconde guerre mondiale que le d\u00e9veloppement et la r\u00e9alisation concr\u00e8te de tels engins s&rsquo;est acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9e. A cette p\u00e9riode l\u00e0, les \u00e9tats-majors militaires ont cherch\u00e9 \u00e0 s&rsquo;affranchir des pistes d&rsquo;atterrissage tout en gardant les capacit\u00e9s de vitesse et de rayon d&rsquo;action de leur appareils.<br><br>Quelques pays ont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s des a\u00e9ronefs de type ADAV (A\u00e9ronef \u00e0 D\u00e9collage et Atterrissage Vertical) \u00e9galement nomm\u00e9 VTOL en anglais (Vertical Take Off and Landing) selon des principes et des r\u00f4les parfois tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rents. Depuis les ann\u00e9es 50, de nombreux concepts ont vu le jours. Les approches peuvent \u00eatre radicalement diff\u00e9rentes. Pour le d\u00e9montrer, j&rsquo;ai choisi de vous pr\u00e9senter quelques exemples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-3 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex Mon objectif \u00e9tait de r\u00e9aliser un convertible avec 2 rotors inclinables. Cette configuration me plait parce qu&rsquo;elle permet de mettre en \u0153uvre une solution simple et plut\u00f4t l\u00e9g\u00e8re, ce qui est pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable pour aborder un mod\u00e8le exp\u00e9rimental avec de meilleures chances de succ\u00e8s. Cependant, mon ambition s&rsquo;est toujours heurt\u00e9e \u00e0 la complexit\u00e9 technique de pouvoir garder le contr\u00f4le dans les diff\u00e9rentes phases de vol. Apr\u00e8s quelques essais infructueux, je suis rest\u00e9 dans l&rsquo;attente d&rsquo;une solution fiable et convaincante pour me relancer dans l&rsquo;aventure.<br><br>La bonne formule, j&rsquo;ai eu l&rsquo;impression de la d\u00e9couvrir il y a quelques ann\u00e9es en visionnant les vid\u00e9os de la cha\u00eene de Tom Stanton sur youtube. Puis, un peu plus tard avec un poste d\u00e9taill\u00e9 de Paul sur <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rcgroups.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">rcgroups.com<\/a> qui a construit son propre avion convertible qui vole tr\u00e8s bien. C&rsquo;est muni d&rsquo;une carte de contr\u00f4le de vol et d&rsquo;un firmware d\u00e9di\u00e9 que Tom et Paul maitrisent les diff\u00e9rentes phases de vol. J&rsquo;ai donc cherch\u00e9 \u00e0 comprendre comment fonctionnent leurs mod\u00e8les. La structure de base est un avion \u00e0 aile haute bi-poutre, bi-d\u00e9rive.<br>&#8211; Les 2 moteurs sont fix\u00e9s sur des nacelles orientables ind\u00e9pendamment et plac\u00e9es sur un axe en extr\u00e9mit\u00e9 d&rsquo;aile.<br>&#8211; L&rsquo;axe supportant les nacelles se trouve sur le centre de gravit\u00e9 du mod\u00e8le.<br>&#8211; La rotation de la nacelle ne modifie pas le centrage, le moteur se trouve au plus proche de l&rsquo;axe de rotation et le servo d&rsquo;inclinaison joue le r\u00f4le de contrepoids.<br>&#8211; L&rsquo;accu, plac\u00e9 au plus bas dans la partie avant du fuselage, joue le r\u00f4le de stabilisateur par effet de balancier.<br>&#8211; Possibilit\u00e9 de pouvoir se poser avec les nacelles en position horizontale.<br>&#8211; Il est compos\u00e9 de pi\u00e8ces structurelles en bois dur et balsa et les parois ainsi que stabilisateur et d\u00e9rives sont en d\u00e9pron de 6mm. L&rsquo;accu de propulsion est log\u00e9 dans un berceau de contreplaqu\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;avant du fuselage. Sa position \u00e9tant la plus basse possible pour garantir l&rsquo;effet de stabilit\u00e9 requis pour l&rsquo;axe de tangage.<br>La carte de commande de vol KK2 est plac\u00e9 juste sous l&rsquo;aile, au plus proche du centre de gravit\u00e9. Dans sa partie arri\u00e8re, le r\u00e9cepteur est fix\u00e9 sur une platine en contreplaqu\u00e9. Le train d&rsquo;atterrissage est construit par impression 3D et tubes de carbone, il est fix\u00e9 par 4 vis M3 plastique. Bas\u00e9 sur le train traditionnel des h\u00e9licos, il est l\u00e0 pour marquer et renforcer la silhouette d&rsquo;un engin r\u00e9solument convertible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery repr\u00e9sentent une masse importante et n\u00e9cessitent une rigidit\u00e9 accrue par rapport \u00e0 une aile classique. Pour gagner en rigidit\u00e9 sans prendre de poids, j&rsquo;ai choisi d&rsquo;augmenter l&rsquo;\u00e9paisseur relative du profil dans le but de donner un effet de caisson. Le profil est un N-10 avec une \u00e9paisseur relative modifi\u00e9e \u00e0 15%. L&rsquo;aile poss\u00e8de un di\u00e8dre de 5\u00b0 pour \u00e9loigner les h\u00e9lices du sol et \u00e9galement pour augmenter la stabilit\u00e9 en tangage.<br>Les nervures sont imprim\u00e9es en 3D. L&rsquo;aile est parcourue de longerons en balsa. Une peau en d\u00e9pron de 3mm recouvre le tout et donne une bonne rigidit\u00e9 pour un poids tr\u00e8s faible. Les tubes carbone supportant les nacelles sont coll\u00e9s dans les derni\u00e8res nervures de l&rsquo;aile.<br>L&rsquo;aile est en une pi\u00e8ce, une cl\u00e9 d&rsquo;aile en contreplaqu\u00e9 vient assurer la liaison centrale. Elle est fix\u00e9e au fuselage par l&rsquo;interm\u00e9diaire de 2 t\u00e9tons et deux vis M5 en plastique. Une pi\u00e8ce imprim\u00e9e 3D rigidifie le bord de fuite dans la zone de raccordement au fuselage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-3 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-5 is-layout-flex class=\"wp-block-heading\">Les nacelles<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Selon moi, les nacelles constituent une pi\u00e8ce maitresse de la stabilit\u00e9 g\u00e9n\u00e9rale. C&rsquo;est la partie du mod\u00e8le pour laquelle j&rsquo;ai consacr\u00e9 le plus de temps en d\u00e9veloppement. Les servomoteurs qui pilotent l&rsquo;inclinaison sont plac\u00e9s en opposition aux moteurs brushless pour \u00e9quilibrer les masses. Pour le choix des moteurs, l\u00e0 aussi, j&rsquo;ai suivi la configuration de Paul (Turnigy Aerodrive D2830\/11 1000KV), cependant, j&rsquo;ai envisag\u00e9 d\u00e8s le d\u00e9part une alimentation en 4s pour b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier d&rsquo;une r\u00e9serve de puissance confortable.<br>Il est primordial d&rsquo;avoir un bon compromis dans le choix de la motorisation et des h\u00e9lices. Par exemple, une h\u00e9lice id\u00e9ale pour le vol stationnaire (grand diam\u00e8tre avec un pas faible) va p\u00e9jorer le vol horizontal et vice-versa. Apr\u00e8s quelques tests, les h\u00e9lices m&rsquo;ayant donn\u00e9es le meilleur compromis sont des GWS 9&#215;5&Prime; tripales retaill\u00e9es en 8&#215;5&Prime;. Elles assurent une bonne traction statique pour le mode stationnaire et avancent bien en vol horizontal.<br>Un servo Hitec HS205-BB actionne l&rsquo;inclinaison de la nacelle par l&rsquo;interm\u00e9diaire de deux roues dent\u00e9es. L&rsquo;une \u00e9tant solidaire du tube carbone coll\u00e9 dans l&rsquo;aile et l&rsquo;autre vient se fixer sur le palonnier du servo. A noter que le rapport du nombre de dents des roues n&rsquo;est pas de 1:1. Je voulais avoir un peu plus de d\u00e9battement sur la nacelle. J&rsquo;ai donc choisi d&rsquo;utiliser un rapport de 21:19<br>Le support principal et les portions de roues dent\u00e9es sont r\u00e9alis\u00e9s par impression 3D.<br>Le r\u00e9gulateur Castle Cr\u00e9ation Talon 35 est plac\u00e9 sur la nacelle dans le flux d&rsquo;air pour un refroidissement optimal. Apr\u00e8s avoir valid\u00e9 et affin\u00e9 par de nombreux vols les r\u00e9glage du mod\u00e8le, j&rsquo;ai install\u00e9 un car\u00e9nage de nacelle pour rendre la silhouette un peu plus esth\u00e9tique. Je l&rsquo;ai r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par impression 3D dans du LW-PLA.
